Andor Technology plc has added the iKon-M x-ray camera to its family of low-light imaging cameras. Designed to deliver high-performance solutions to direct-detection x-ray requirements, the camera offers a “silent” noise floor; high quantum efficiency across the x-ray and extreme UV energy ranges; and negligible dark current with thermoelectric cooling as low as –90 °C. It provides readout speeds up to 2.5 MHz, enabling faster frame rate imaging of dynamic processes. Applications include soft x-ray imaging, lithography, x-ray microscopy, beam profilometry and plasma diagnostics.
