Pepperl+Fuchs has introduced the PMI14V-F112-U-V3 Inductive Linear Measurement Sensors, the most compact addition to their PMI sensor family.
These flush mountable sensors are just 35 mm wide x 41 mm deep, and provide a 14mm sensing range with resolutions up to 0.033 mm. PMI14V sensors feature a voltage output with zero position adjust, giving users the flexibility to scale the unit to shorter usable lengths to satisfy specific application requirements.
According to Pepperl+Fuchs, they are an ideal high performance linear measurement sensing solution in applications requiring short-range linear measurement in a compact package. They are particularly well suited for spindle gripper position measurement in the machine tool industry.
