Optical Bandpass Filter

TAMPERE, Finland, July 21, 2008 – Oseir has unveiled a new tunable multistage optical bandpass filter for use in practical spectral two-dimensional imaging applications.

The filter has a tuning wavelength range from 450 to 800 nm and the bandwidth can be optimized by the number of stacked filter elements. A basic four element filter stack is 40 x 50 x 35 and weighs 250 grams, with a diameter filter aperture of 12 mm. Custom sizes can be made available upon request.

Features of the filter include a compact size, a wide aperture with high quality image transmission and strong blocking bands. Imaging measurements include spectroscopy, pyrometry, astronomy and color analysis. The filters can be used for environmental, biomedical and industrial applications.
