MARLBORO, Mass., May 20, 2008 -- Measure Foundry 5.1 from Data Translation features Windows Vista support and additional components.

Measure Foundry is a rapid-application development package for all types of measurement instruments.

Data acquisition capability has been extended to Windows Vista users building high-performance sensor-based measurement systems. An analog input synched component allows synchronization of two DT9837A modules, reducing development time -- the two devices are presented in a single component configurable as one device with twice the channels.

An ASCII file writer component allows data to be saved directly to a text file. New measurement applets, including a sound and vibration applet, have also been added. Applications for vibration and temperature can be configured with the program's graphical drag-and-drop approach.

Measure Foundry is available in base, professional and academic versions. An add-on Instrument Pak for Measure Foundry Professional provides support for all system standards, including IVI, VISA and SCPI.
