Applied Image Group Merges with Donnelly Optics
The
Applied Image Group Inc. in Rochester, N.Y., has acquired one of
Donnelly Corp.'s subsidiaries,
Donnelly Optics Corp., based in Tucson, Ariz. The two companies agreed to the merger Dec. 1, with the deal expected to close this month.
Applied Image Group manufactures opto-imaging products for the automotive, medical, information and scanning industries. Donnelly Corp. supplies automotive mirror, vision and window lighting. The merger will enable Donnelly to focus more closely on its core automotive business, according to a statement released by both companies.
