Colder Products Co. has developed couplings with a thumb latch for one-handed disconnects. The SST series comes in both 1/8- and 1/4-in. nominal flow capacity. The couplings operate in working pressure from vacuum to 150 psi and in temperatures from -40 °F to 200 °F continuous, or 400 °F intermittent. The flow path is made from 316 stainless steel for durability and chemical resistance. These devices are suitable for use with analytical instruments, and for the printing, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.
