American Eltec's Basic Automation Board 740 is a VME bus CPU board with a PowerPC processor and PMC extension capability. The PMC modules include a graphics controller with two independent graphics controllers on the same module and a frame grabber with full DMA into processor memory. Users can design the board they need by choosing from among the PowerPC CPUs 603e, 604e and 740e, with processing power ranging from 200 to 450 MHz. Memory is selectable from 8 to 256 MB of DRAM.
