The MVi-20 machine vision imager from RVSI Northeast Robotics consists of a camera, optics and lighting. Its compact design, measuring 4.5 in. long and weighing 14 oz, provides flexibility in machine vision applications. The company says the user need only mount the unit 1.5 in. from the part to be inspected and attach the camera cable to obtain a focused, correctly illuminated image. The system provides a 20-mm field of view, and a single 12-pin Hirose connector provides the video and power connections.
