The series 600 SmartImage Sensor from DVT Corp. provides 640 x 480-pixel resolution capabilities combined with network communications. It can deliver quality control inspection results, coordinate information for motion controllers, statistical process control data and 2-D code verification. Measuring 1.6 x 2.2 x 4 in., the sensor features an embedded PowerPC processor and ships with the company's newest software interface, FrameWork 1.4, which has tools for blob analysis, precision measurement and a motion control data link.
