Hypervision Inc. has developed software for critical reference images in backside emission imaging. It is designed to work with the company's Beams and Beams Jr. emission microscope systems. The software eliminates glare from the polished silicon and creates a complete overlay image with contrast and resolution comparable to those in front-side emission images. Back-side imaging applications include advanced DRAMS, LOCs and flip chips.
