TuiLaser AG introduces ExciStar S200/500 excimer lasers with 18-mJ output energies and 500-Hz repetition rates in the UV. Corona preionization reduces pulse-to-pulse variation and window contamination. A solid-state switch is used for stable light output, and the metal-ceramic discharge chamber provides uniform energy pulses. Complete remote control is possible with an optical RS-232 interface.
