The Model 791 optical channel analyzer from GN Nettest is a portable testing solution for DWDM network installation and maintenance. Offering 30-pm absolute wavelength accuracy and ultrahigh channel resolution of less than 80 pm (10 GHz), the device can resolve ultrahigh-density WDM channels. Because the tunable filter technology has essentially no moving parts, the Model 791 offers the capability of long-term monitoring of the channels. An embedded version of the unit can be integrated into DWDM systems.
