The MT-RJ system of fiber optic connectors and cable assemblies from Methode Fiber Optic Products doubles port density in existing networking equipment and patch panels. The components, available in 50- and 62.5-µm multimode versions, are suitable for use in fiber optic networking environments such as Gigabit Ethernet, fiber channel and Fast Ethernet. The MT-RJ system uses a precision-molded multifiber ferrule and is a drop-in replacement for the RJ-45 modular plug-and-jack system.
