AngstromBond AB9001 MT is a thixotropic epoxy that yields high bond strength to glass, ceramic, metals and plastics. Fiber Optic Center Inc. designed the two-part curing adhesive for use in MT and MT-RJ connector assemblies. Its blue color allows easy polishing, and the low-temperature curing capability produces low stress, thus eliminating fiber cracking in single- and multimode applications. The adhesive also can be used for encapsulating fiber optic adapters into metal housings.
