The MLA270-115/230 from Melcor Corp. is a thermoelectric solid-state liquid chiller designed to use water or coolant solution. The closed-loop 270-W system has 115 or 230 VAC, a pump, a reservoir, a low-fluid-level detector, alarms that can be set for low and high temperature limits, and a built-in digital controller that will stabilize liquid temperature to within 2 °C. An optional 0.5 °C con-troller is available. The chiller does not use chlorofluorocarbons or hydro-chlorofluorocarbons.
