A family of multifunctional confocal microscope workstations with expanded selection of microscope bases, number of laser lines and detectors, imaging modes and automated features has been launched by Olympus America Inc. The FluoView's confocal optics detect fluorescence signals via multiple high-sensitivity 12-bit PMTs. The FluoView 300 has two channels, and the 500 features up to four. This series is suitable for research applications from basic imaging to advanced techniques with high confocal resolution.
