The ALS-1050 series launched by Amonics Ltd. comprises ytterbium-doped-fiber broadband light sources for the 1030- to 1070-nm range. The company says that the devices provide high output power and stability. They are suitable for performing measurements that require high-power nonpolarized output, such as for the characterization of 1060-nm fiber laser systems and for optical tomography.
