A lamella curtain released by Laservision GmbH has been tested and approved for laser protection according to DIN/EN 12254. The highly absorptive fire-resistant silicon-based material transmits no light and is suitable for use with lasers ranging from UV devices at 180 nm through CO₂ devices at 10,600 nm. The curtain is resistant to aging, caustic solutions and acids, even at very high and low temperatures. Assembly requires a special lamella holder for attachment to a steel pipe or curtain hooks. The standard size is approximately 1900 mm high and 2850 mm wide. Other sizes can be ordered.
