PicoQuant GmbH offers version 2.0 of its software for the NanoHarp 250 data acquisition board. The PCI-slot card has applications in multichannel scaling and photon counting for optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR), time-of-flight mass spectrometry, rangefinding, and measurements of fluorescence and luminescence decay. The new version of the software includes a programmable trigger for use with excitation sources such as the PDL 800-B laser diodes and extends the usable time span of decay and OTDR measurements to more than 2 s. The software is compatible with Windows operating systems, and a driver library for use with automated instruments will be separately available.
