The Pattern Generator is more than a digital delay and pulse generator, according to the manufacturer, Cleode. It generates custom-engineered patterns, such as pulse width modulation, pulse, delay and arbitrary, on 16 channels. The user can define a pattern of 16 million events per channel, independent of the time base. Patterns are defined within a changeable binary file, and the external clock is supported from 2 Hz to 33 MHz. Internal clocks are available at 33 and 10 MHz. The system achieves maximum resolution of 30 ns and is supplied with an Ethernet interface.
