Laser diode manufacturer Alfalight Inc. of Madison, Wis., has placed an order for fully automated laser bar soldering and inspection systems produced by ficonTec GmbH of Bremen, Germany. The systems not only increase yield, but also improve the accuracy of positioning laser bars on heat sinks.
