Version 6.0 of the Image-Pro Plus scientific image processing and analysis software supports Windows XP x64 operating systems. Produced by Media Cybernetics Inc., its dynamic autorange feature and streamlined acquisition interface capture and display high-quality images, and user-defined live scaling enables low-light acquisition. The software includes voxel-based 3-D filters for use with 3-D volumetric and time-lapse image sets. A built-in OpenGL 3-D viewer enables interactive 3-D volume rendering. New analysis features include management tools for true color fidelity, the ability to classify more than 100,000 objects per image frame, and tools to export data to programs such as Origin and Microsoft Excel.
