The PIXCI E1 frame grabber for the PCI Express bus, launched by Epix Inc., can sustain data transfer rates at up to 204 MB/s, supporting most full-, medium- or base-configuration Camera Link cameras. It supports more than 75 cameras from 12 manufacturers, including area- and line-scan, monochrome and color, high-resolution and fast-frame-rate types. The board is supplied with the Xcap-Lite imaging program, and Xcap-Ltd and Xcap-Std are available as options. XCLIB and PXIPL developer libraries facilitate custom software development, and TWAIN and Image-Pro drivers are available.
