DVC Co. has introduced the DVC4000C digital camera, which incorporates a Kodak KAI-4021C progressive-scan interline CCD sensor with a quantum efficiency of >55% in the 500- to 600-nm region. An on-sensor Bayer filter pattern provides RGB color and minimizes loss of light and resolution. The stable optical mount uses adjustable F- or C-mount coupling. The camera is supplied with DVCView software that runs on Windows 2000/XP for real-time viewing and image capture. The camera offers 2048 × 2048-pixel resolution, 12-bit digitization, exposure times of >1 h and a Camera Link interface.
