toshiba.jpg The CS6910CL machine vision camera presented by Toshiba Teli America Inc. employs a Fuji honeycomb-style 1/4-in. CCD sensor that, the company says, provides better color fidelity and greater sensitivity than traditional CCDs. The camera operates at up to 30 fps in full-frame output, with lower error rates. The progressive-scan sensor acquires 1280 × 960-SXGA or 640 × 480VGA images in 24-bit color, even in random trigger shutter. The Camera Link interface enables digital output of images in RGB or YUV mode. The camera measures 54 × 43 × 59 mm, weighs 150 g and uses universal C-mount lenses. Features include an external trigger, an electronic shutter, one-push white balance and edge-enhancement capability. It produces a signal-to-noise ratio of 50 dB, achieves minimum sensitivity of 30 lx at f/1.4 and operates on a 12VDC supply.
