H2W Technologies Inc. has launched a series of high-speed closed-loop linear stepper motor stages that feature an integral linear encoder with 10-μm resolution, 0.033-mm/m repeatability, 0.0833-mm/m accuracy and speeds up to 3.6 m/s. Available in travel lengths up to 3.6 m and with 6-, 10- or 20-lb force, the device is targeted for assembly, sampling, inspection, robotics, pick-and-place, testing, medical lab and optical applications.
