The AC421 is a two-axis angular displacement autocollimator system from Equipment Solutions Inc. The high-sensitivity measurement device is designed to calculate minute angular displacements at distances as far away as 78.7 in. It has an optical range of ±2160 arc sec and 0.1-arc-sec sensitivity. The 670-nm laser has a beam diameter of <3 mm. With a PC and Windows application software or a handheld touch-screen interface, the system performs complex data collection and analysis for vibration monitoring, mechanical and optical alignments, servo control feedback, pitch and yaw measurements, settling time examination and stage damping analysis.
