The OCP-055 was designed by Elite Thermal Engineering for cooling CS-mount laser diodes either on an optical bench for laser research or in OEM laser product development. It can be optimized to provide higher cooling power with lower temperature difference, and vice versa. It offers two CS-mounting locations, one at the front for use on an optical table where free-space optics can be placed close to the laser diode, and the other at the center of the cold plate for fiber-coupled lasers. The cold plate is electrically isolated from the rest of the module, and the thermoelectric cooler is environmentally sealed for operation below dew point.
