QImaging has launched its Go series digital color cameras, which combine CMOS sensor technology with USB 2.0 plug-and-play connectivity. The Go-5 model features a sensor with 5 million pixels, a 12-bit digitizer and a full-resolution rate of 7 fps. The sensor offers user-selectable region of interest, exposure/integration control from 1 ms to 3 s and rms read noise of 2.6 e^–. It operates at 60 fps with 640 × 480-pixel resolution. The camera consumes 2.5 W from a 5-VDC supply and operates from 0 to 50 °C. It is supplied with Windows-based software for real-time image preview and capture. The other cameras in the series are the Go-3 and the Go-21.
