Applied Kilovolts Ltd. has released a variety of low-stress, high-voltage power supplies. The precision units provide power output of up to 1 W and are designed for use with mass spectrometers and other devices that require low-ripple, high-stability power. The family includes <1- to 50-kV supplies, with ripple of <2 ppm, a temperature coefficient of <10 ppm/°C and drift as low as 25 ppm. Other applications include use with electron microscopes, photomultiplier tubes, microchannel plates, nuclear instruments and low-power x-ray machines.
