Micro-Lite is offering full-spectrum bulbs for use with its FV1000 and FL1000 microscope lighting systems in lead-free assembly and inspection applications. Because full-spectrum light contains the entire range of visible wavelengths, all objects and a wide variety of materials can be seen by the human eye when it shines on them. The FL-1000 fluorescent ring illuminator features electrostatic discharge-safe construction and adjustable dimmer control with no flickering. The FV-1000 microscope fluorescent lighting source features proprietary patented microchip-controlled dimmable fluorescence technology and a side-mounted adjustment knob. Nonflickering, high-frequency operation enables photography and viewing through CCD cameras.
