The LightPix AE20 from Panasonic Electric Works Corp. of America is an integrated lighting, CCD color camera and CPU vision sensor that can be programmed via the company’s Aetool software. Six interchangeable inspection packages include color judgment, area and pattern matching; measurement; and edge and peak detection. Aluminum IP67 construction suits the device for use in harsh environments, and an optical red LED facilitates height adjustment.
