PPT Vision Inc. has unveiled the Impact T28 and T24 intelligent color cameras for industrial vision applications. With 1600 × 1200-pixel resolution, the T28 model is suitable for high-accuracy color verification, label inspection and real-time part sorting. The economical T24 version has 1024 × 768-pixel resolution. Both devices contain an onboard image processor, provide real-time I/O and Ethernet communications, and are designed for 100% quality verification. Advanced color inspection tools are provided, as is proprietary Inspection Builder software, which features icon-based programming and inspection algorithms, including pattern matching, blob analysis, subpixel gauging and character recognition.
