StockerYale Inc. has announced that its Lasiris SNF laser, used in machine vision applications, now operates at powers of up to 100 mW at 660 nm with an automatic power control circuit. This compact instrument uses a laser diode drive circuit that is based on a photodiode feedback loop that maintains output power stability over long periods of time and during potential temperature fluctuations. The availability of the 100-mW power option is suitable for high-speed inspection, positioning and mapping applications.
