CVI Acquires Quality Laser Optics
CVI Technical Optics Ltd. of Onchan has announced the acquisition of Quality Laser Optics of Ballasalla, both on the Isle of Man, UK. The purchase will increase CVI’s European manufacturing capacity by more than 25 percent and will add phosphate disk polishing to its processing capabilities. Products include wave plates, polarizers, beamsplitters, filters, windows, large-format optics, mounts, optomechanical subassemblies, and spherical, multielement and cylindrical lenses. The company serves the semiconductor, biotech, industrial, commercial, aerospace and research markets.
