4D Technology Gets NASA Award

NASA’s Goddard Achievement in Excellence Award has been presented to 4D Technology of Tucson, Ariz., for its vibration-intensive speckle interferometer’s contribution to the James Webb Space Telescope project. The company combined its pixelated phase sensor technology with a high-energy pulsed laser to measure data in a high-vibration environment on nonreflective diffuse surface structures.
