LightPath Awarded Grant
The US Naval Air Warfare Center has awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant to LightPath Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of precision-molded aspheric optics, Gradium glass products, collimator and optical assemblies, laser components utilizing automation technology and packaging solutions. Directed by the US Air Force Research Laboratories, the Orlando, Fla., company will develop molding technologies for low-cost infrared optical components. Technical support and guidance will be provided by Lockheed Martin Corp. of Bethesda, Md.
