Sensors Unlimited, Goodrich Corp., has announced the short-wave infrared SU320KTX-1.7 RT camera for military and commercial use. Measuring <3.8 × 3.8 × 3.8 in. and weighing <90 g, the InGaAs camera has a 320 × 240-pixel format on a 40-µm-pitch focal plane array. It consumes <1.6 W and features onboard non-uniformity correction, auto gain and enhanced display algorithms. Available in a compact OEM module or enclosed in a 10.1 × 10.1 × 10.1 housing, it includes a C-mount lens adapter and lens. The device offers simultaneous Camera Link digital output, providing 12-bit images for processing and transmission. Applications include covert surveillance, imaging spectroscopy, astronomy, emission microscopy and machine vision. The camera integrates into unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, and into robotic, handheld and portable systems.
