Unveiled by Cineflex LLC, the V14 Magnum multisensor camera system combines a high-definition day/night camera with an extended-focal-length lens; a long-range, three-fields-of-view infrared sensor; and a real-time wide-field-of-view camera. It is suitable for day/night high-altitude surveillance and for tactical imaging. The high-definition camera has 2.2 million pixels, produces horizontal resolution of 1000 TV lines and provides long zoom capability with good gimbal stability. The 320 × 256-pixel cooled InSb focal plane array covers the 3- to 5-µm spectral region. The wide-field-of-view camera enables imaging and display of the entire scene in real time and in a separate window, so the operator does not lose the big picture while focusing on details.
