DIGITIZERS
gage-applied-tech.jpg Gage Applied Technologies has introduced onboard eXpert peak detection field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology in its digitizers. It enables detection of peaks within a set of digitized waveform data and is available as an optional FPGA image that can be installed on the company’s new high-performance 12- or 14-bit digitizers, including the CS12400, the CS14200 and the CS14105. The technology is designed to be transparent to the company’s standard CompuScope Windows drivers and can be implemented by existing customers on cards that are already in use in the field, without requiring that the card be sent back to the company for reprogramming. Applications include ultrasound, radar and lidar testing, spectrometry, optical fiber testing, stimulus-response systems and network analysis.
