Lumenera Becomes Subsidiary of Roper

Lumenera Corp., an Ottawa-based supplier of digital cameras for industrial, scientific and security applications, has been acquired by Roper Industries Inc. of Duluth, Ga. Offering custom design services to its partners and OEM customers, the Canadian company specializes in digital bus technologies such as USB and Ethernet, and in hardware and software built around CMOS- and CCD-based imagers. It will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, with the aim of further expanding its product offerings through Roper’s global supply network.

Roper is a diversified company that produces engineered products for global niche markets, including water, energy, radio frequency, and research and medical applications.
