Multiwave Photonics SA of Moreira da Maia, Portugal, has appointed Market Tech Inc. of Scotts Valley, Calif., as its exclusive distributor in the US. The Portuguese company supplies optical sources based on fiber optic technologies for applications in industry, fiber sensing and biomedical instrumentation. Products include amplified stimulated emission sources and polarization-maintaining fiber amplifiers. Market Tech provides representation for a variety of photonics manufacturers.
