Thales Laser has introduced a high-power multikilohertz diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser that delivers >110 W of average power at 1064 nm and >65 W of green at 10 kHz. Pulse duration is 45 ns and M² is <20. Etna’s cavity pumping structure results in highly stable power. Its repetition rate is variable from 5 to 30 kHz, and its pump diodes offer several thousands of hours of lifetime. Power density can be adjusted without affecting the beam profile quality. The laser is supplied with Windows-based control software. Applications include pumping of Ti:sapphire amplifiers, nonlinear optics, industrial precision marking, cutting, drilling and micromaterials processing.
