Arroyo Instruments has unveiled the LaserSource laser diode series with models 4201, 4205 and 4210 providing 100-, 500- and 1000-mA, respectively. Built for high stability and low noise, the devices feature optically isolated photodiode and modulation inputs, constant voltage control mode, programmable photodiode bias, clear vacuum fluorescent display, and both RS-232 and USB 2.0 interfaces. Hardware current and voltage limits and fully floating outlets provide laser protection. The company says that text-based menus and clearly displayed parameters facilitate operation. The devices integrate with proprietary 5230 TecSource temperature controllers and 200-series LaserMount accessories.
