The MDE-37 series light detectors from Gigahertz-Optik Inc. feature integrated amplifiers, black anodized aluminum housings and cosine diffuser input optics. Suitable for UV, visible and near-IR optical radiation monitoring applications, the devices provide maximum output voltage of ±4.5 V with an operating voltage of 5 V. Photodiode type and size as well as optical filtering are determined by application and associated minimum and maximum light signal levels. Temperature stabilization and other control options also are available.
