Photon etc. inc. has released the imaging Bragg tunable filter family of hyperspectral imaging sensors that can acquire monochromatic images at any UV-VIS-NIR wavelength. The sensors, based on volume Bragg gratings, offer optical bandpasses from 0.25 to 100 nm and between 350 nm and 2.5 μm, and efficiencies of up to 90% unpolarized. Available in laboratory and field-portable versions, they are suitable for Raman and biomedical imaging, industrial inspection and remote sensing.
