Adimec Electronic Imaging Inc. has released the Adimec-1620, a two-megapixel camera offered in either monochrome or color for machine vision applications. Single- and dual-tap versions are available, providing up to 18 or 34 progressive images per second, respectively. The company says that the camera operates well in low-light conditions, consumes minimal power and has a small form factor. A standard Camera Link interface facilitates integration with current frame grabbers. The camera produces 1600 × 1200-pixel resolution with pixel size of 7.4 μm for applications including metrology, area of interest, and wafer and semiconductor inspection.
