Zeon to Build Plant in Himi City, Japan

Tokyo-based Zeon Corp. has announced plans to construct a plant in Himi City, Japan, for its wholly owned subsidiary Optes Co. Ltd. in response to demand for its Zeonor Film for LCD televisions. Phase I construction at the 170,000-sq-m site is expected to be finished in September 2007, at a projected investment of $86.7 million.
