BAE Systems of Lexington, Mass., has awarded Phase II funding of approximately $705,000 to Texas Photonics Inc. of Rowlett for the purchase of 1050 optical detectors to be used on the seeker head for the “optically directed attack munition” program. The money was awarded under a DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) contract.
