Optical Research Associates (ORA) of Pasadena, Calif., has chosen the winners of its annual Student Optical Design Competition. The awards, totaling $4000, are granted to students who use the company’s software in their research. This year’s winners are Fei Hu of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Kevin O’Shea of the University of Arizona and Yijing Fu of the University of Rochester.
